Welcome! 1 Year, 10 Months ago
A number of residents have shared expressions of concern about the condition and maintenance of the clubhouse facilities.

It will be helpful to all of us if you will kindly participate in the Poll on the Home Page of our site.

We encourage you also to feel free to share your thoughts and concerns about the cluhouse in this forum.

Clubhouse Dues 1 Year, 10 Months ago
A number of residents have enquired concerning whether or not they should have to pay the clubhouse dues if they never use the clubhouse, particularly if they are not resident in one of the Cala Hills residnetial Villages.

Do you believe this is something that should be addressed with the management of the clubhouse?

What other thoughts do you have about this?

Re: Clubhouse Dues 1 Year, 10 Months ago
I just recently received a bill for late charges. Having lost our business and all our savings in said business we are now forced to live only on my husbands Social Security. We are a family of six people as my daughter, her husband and 6 month old baby have relocated here. I.or anyone else in my home. have yet to find employment. As much as it is a hardship for me to get the money for these dues. (as I am sure many residents.with such hard economic times, feel this at this time) I pay my dues! I think it's rather rigid that if it is not paid on the first you get a late fee. Why can't there be a grace period of maybe the 15th of the month before a late fee is applicable. Personally, my income doesn't come in until the 5th of every month and the mortgage and electric goes out of those funds first. It's sad and a little embarassing for me to put this on here, but I'd rather buy needed food for my household than pay $36.00 for late fees that are only days late when so many people do not make an effort at all to pay them. By the way this is my first time on the website....pretty impressive. Thanks for letting me vent and Happy Easter!

Thank you for using the forum and for sharing your thoughts. I am really sorry to hear about your situation.

While I understand your concerns about the homeowners dues I think a little clarification is necessary. The due date for homeowners dues is the first of each month but there is actually a grace period until the 15th of the month. Payments received after the 15th are subject to the late fee.

I hope you find this helpful but please do not hesitate to ask if you have more questions or need clarification. You can communicate via the forum or you can use the form on the Contact Us page.
